Legend Of Zelda The The Wind Waker

The Legend of Zelda Wind Waker Gamecube ROM - Plot

The game is set several centuries after the events described in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Ideologically, the game develops the concept of Ocarina of Time, providing the player with a holistic world, many unique characters, and even more freedom of action. Link and his sister live peacefully and enjoy life until one day a pirate ship pulls up to the island, and a pirate captain, a teenage girl, named Tetra, is not trying to kidnap a huge bird. Instead of Tetra, Link's sister becomes a victim of the monster, and he is forced to join a squad of pirates in order to rescue the unfortunate child from captivity. Players have the right to explore this endless world at their own discretion. The feeling of adventure does not leave The Wind Waker for a minute, and the main assistant to the protagonist soon turns out to be a smart-talking boat with a sly and slightly pretentious name.

The Past of Zelda for GameCube Console

The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker is an action-adventure video game from The Legend of Zelda series developed and released by Nintendo for the Nintendo GameCube console. The game was released in 2002 in Japan and in 2003 in North America and Europe. It is graphically executed using cel-shading technology.

TWW is one of the strongest games in The Legend of Zelda series. The developers abandoned the usual "dry" world and moved the action of the game to the country of the endless sea with a bunch of islands that promise many secrets and dangers. The branded "classic dungeons" with multi-storey rooms, traps, and the evilest monsters have not gone anywhere either. And for those in no hurry to save the world, there is a bunch of mini-games, intelligently distributed throughout the storyline campaign - from searching for caches to hunting for fairies. As a result, The Wind Waker's gameplay can be safely called traditional - we move between many locations, fight aggressive monsters, and solve puzzles.

At the same time, as a good game, TWW shines with variety: stealth episodes with a walk around the fortress are replaced by the exploration of a peaceful city, and then a battle with a large number of aggressive trolls. The game rewards explorers who are ready to return to previous locations with new equipment and climb into previously inaccessible corners. A vast world and sea with many islands await the brave adventurers!

Recognition Of The Game

The game gained recognition from the gaming community and received high marks in the media. The remake of the game for the Nintendo Wii U platform also received rave reviews from critics. According to the Metacritic aggregator, the game was rated 90/100 (based on 70 reviews). Along with the merits of the original game, reviewers noted improvements in graphics and lighting. The Legend Of Zelda: The Wind Waker won the 2004 BAFTA Games Adventure Game.
